Join HP as a Sales Intern to engage with clients, support sales activities, and gain real-world experience in a leading technology company.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Work with clients to close sales of assigned products and generate leads for experienced Sales Representatives
- Share sales activities with experienced Sales Reps as necessary
- Inform customers of company promotions and upgrades; persuade customers to purchase extended products, services, and supplies
- Assist with pipeline and forecast responsibilities according to sales center business processes
- Execute opportunity and lead management
- Establish professional working relationships with clients
- Align account strategy and sales motions to maximize client value
- Build and maintain solid customer relations to protect or expand HP's installed base
- Collaborate with field sales and others to ensure seamless account coverage
- Seek appropriate resources in presales and product/service specialists to support complex deals
- Establish partner contacts to share account information and seek joint opportunities that drive incremental revenue
- Nurture and close new opportunities resulting in substantial incremental orders, revenue, and margins representing the entire HP portfolio
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a four-year college and returning to school following the internship
- Basic knowledge about HP portfolio
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Interest in building a career in sales
- Eligibility to work in the US without requiring future work authorization sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $21.85 to $30.04 (varies by location, knowledge, skills, and experience)
