Merrill Wealth Management seeks interns to support Financial Advisors with client service, relationship management, and strategic projects in a dynamic wealth management environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist with client service opportunities, client engagement, acquisition efforts, and relationship management for multiple Financial Advisors (FAs)
  • Support enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy within the FA's business
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within Merrill to address all client service needs
  • Act as a resource for FAs on the team
  • Participate in client onboarding, account servicing, and digital engagement
  • Contribute to strategic projects focused on client experience, relationship management, and operations
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to prepare for a future career as a Merrill Financial Advisor
  • Use a consultative approach to identify client and business leader needs and recommend appropriate solutions

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or direct bachelor's to master's degree from an accredited institution, graduating between November 2027 and August 2028
  • Confident self-starter with sales experience
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated, able to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Superior relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable to evolving job duties and expectations
  • Goal-oriented and able to achieve set objectives
  • Clear and confident communicator
  • Collaborative and works well with others
  • Incorporates relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Client service-oriented, professional, and courteous
  • Preferred: Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, multitask effectively, experience assessing client needs and recommending solutions, minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
