Water Resources Engineering Intern to support water resources and wastewater projects in Dewberry’s New York City office for Summer 2026.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Create and perform concept level design of treatment works
- Analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for storm water and watershed master planning
- Support stream restoration and water quality studies
- Collaborate with a team of professionals in a dynamic work environment
About You
The company is looking for:
- Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field
- Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues preferred
- Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Ability to work in a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $17.75 - $28.75 per hour
- No relocation assistance or housing stipend provided; local candidates preferred
