Dewberry seeks a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 in New York City to support water resources and wastewater projects.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Create and perform concept-level design of treatment works
- Analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for storm water and watershed master planning
- Support stream restoration and water quality studies
About You
The company is looking for:
- Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources ora related field
- Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues is preferred
- Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Local candidates preferred; no housing stipend provided

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $17.75 - $28.75 per hour
