Amazon MGM Studios seeks dynamic interns to support music coordination and executive teams on Prime Video series projects.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Creating music breakdowns for episodes by reading scripts and identifying potential music moments
  • Tracking music usage across different episodes and shows within the Prime slate by reviewing music reports
  • Participating in the creative process of choosing songs for key music moments and marketing needs
  • Attending composer and music supervisor meetings to learn about the TV music industry and talent
  • Working closely with music coordinators on internal projects and supporting executives on project-specific needs

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12-week internship minimum
  • Expected graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2028
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or above in Film and Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, Audio Engineering, Visual Arts, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Outlook and strong competency in Word and Excel
  • Preferred experience in the entertainment industry and handling confidential information
  • Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts
  • Effective planning, time management, organizational abilities, and high attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Prior experience with music cue sheets, music synchronization rights, PRO repertory search, Airtable and/or advanced Excel, social media market research, Photoshop, and Mailchimp is preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay ranges from $58,968/year to $82,700/year depending on geographic market
  • Compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms as part of a total package

Training & Development

Interns have the opportunity to participate in guest speaker sessions, networking events, and screenings, gaining hands-on experience and industry insights.
