AECOM seeks a Transportation Engineering Intern for summer 2026 in Cincinnati, focusing on traffic engineering tasks within a global infrastructure leader.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Engage in traffic engineering tasks such as signal design, traffic studies, and traffic modeling.
- Gain hands-on experience that complements academic learning and supports the transition from student to professional.
- Participate in a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field of transportation engineering.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least one year of study completed.
- Recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree planning to continue with a Master’s degree in the same or similar discipline.
- Interest in pursuing an advanced degree following the internship.
- Preferred experience with technical software such as OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, Synchro, Vissim (desirable but not required).
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage: USD 20 - USD 24
