Join ABB as a Test Automation Engineer Intern to support software development and testing in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within defined timelines.
  • Perform software development duties using programming languages to write automation tests simulating user inputs into host applications.
  • Utilize the Ranorex Enterprise test automation suite to record and playback tests.
  • Learn different application areas in ABB measurement devices to write test procedures in the Smart Bear QA Complete software test management tool.
  • Perform code reviews with other developers and maintain software version controls.
  • Execute written test procedures on ABB flow computers and record pass/fail results.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields in the United States.
  • Academic experience in at least one programming language: C, C++, C#, or Java.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite in Bartlesville, OK.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Effective collaboration skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide project updates.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
  • Internships in the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.
