Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Work on live projects designing, developing, and maintaining applications used by business units.
  • Engage with clients to gather and analyze requirements, make system design decisions, and deploy applications to production.
  • Develop high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems and complex workflows (Development Teams).
  • Develop and maintain platforms, tools, applications, and infrastructure such as networks, operating systems, and databases (Enterprise Engineering Teams).
  • Participate in senior management networking events, technical demonstrations, team-building activities, and community service initiatives.

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • 0-1 years of professional experience in Technology or related field.
  • For Development/Enterprise Engineering: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or related technical major; graduation between December 2026 and June 2029.
  • Strong technical skills including Linux/Unix and Windows proficiency, competency in at least one programming language (C, C++, Java, or C#), object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms, and database/scripting skills.
  • Keen interest in financial services, experience documenting IT solution requirements, and strong technical knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected base pay between $70,000 and $110,000 per year at commencement.
  • Compensation package may include discretionary bonuses and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Training & Development

Participate in an induction day providing an overview of the Firm and gain real-world, project-based experience with opportunities for senior management networking, technical demonstrations, and team-building.
