Join CACI as a Technical Project Management Intern to support network modernization projects and gain hands-on experience in project lifecycle management at our High Point, NC office.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and executing project tasks and deliverables.
- Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including timelines, status reports, and risk logs.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key takeaways and action items.
- Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct research and gather data to support project decision-making.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintain project management tools, dashboards, and reports as needed.
- Assist in the creation of presentations and reports for project updates.
- Provide general administrative support to project management teams as required.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Graduating high school senior with academic achievement or current full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate student, preferably in Project Management, Operations, or a technical or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools such as Trello or Jira is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable).
- Willingness to travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary.
- Capability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment as part of the role.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail preferred.
- Previous internships in a program management-related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $39,400 - $60,700, influenced by location, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
