Collaborate with Mastercard as a Technical Program Intern to drive engineering project execution and deliver innovative technology solutions in a global payments leader.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving execution of multiple simultaneous engineering projects within a scrum execution model.
- Understanding technical stacks, integration patterns, and organizational capabilities to provide solutions.
- Contributing to strategy, design choices, and cloud infrastructure for delivering new features and capabilities.
- Managing projects that span multiple teams and integrations, reporting meaningful status updates.
- Collaborating across Mastercard Technology organizations such as Technology Strategy & Transformation, Network Gateway Engineering, Decision Management Platform, Open Banking Global Operations, Mainframe and Operations, and Global Market Technology.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or related field, graduating December 2026 or later.
- Ability to operate independently with ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships and influence teams.
- Interest in technology, especially through a data-driven lens.
- Experience with agile delivery models (Jira, scrum, Kanban) and skills in problem breakdown, work organization, sprint planning, and delivery are a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now and in the future (F1 visa holders with CPT or OPT are not eligible).
