Join CohnReznick as a Tax Associate in Tysons, VA, preparing tax returns and collaborating in a hybrid work environment with a focus on professional growth.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, and Corporations.
  • Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances.
  • Research filing requirements and tax issues using the Internal Revenue Code, treasury regulations, and other relevant guidance.
  • Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Draft tax technical memorandums.
  • Collaborate closely with a team including Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners across various industries.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 and September 2027 to qualify for CPA licensure.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both major and overall.
  • Leadership experience in extracurricular activities preferred.
  • Prior work or internship experience, preferably in accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based culture.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must provide proof of work authorization (U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency); no sponsorship for entry-level roles.
