Join Intuit as a Software Engineer Intern to develop innovative financial technology solutions impacting millions worldwide.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and systems.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in debugging and resolving software defects.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of software.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Experience developing web applications using server-side languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles and ability to work with API integrations.
  • Experience with server frameworks such as Express, Spring MVC, or Django.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and fundamental programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • A "self-starter" attitude with the ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a history of successfully delivering on assigned tasks.
  • Desire to learn and grow within a technical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) programs, tools, and concepts.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • A graduation date at least 4 months after the end of the internship (December 2026 or later).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship.
  • Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week in Mountain View, San Diego, New York, or Atlanta.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package with pay for performance rewards.
  • Eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits according to applicable plans.
  • Pay range: $35.50 - $66.10 USD per hour, varying by education and location.
