AECOM seeks a Structural Engineering Intern in Boston, MA, to assist with diverse vertical structural projects in a hybrid work model.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Conduct engineering design under supervision.
- Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
- Collect and analyze data under supervision.
- Participate in site investigation, construction progress, and other site visits alongside an experienced engineer.
- Use computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
- Perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule under supervision.
- Collaborate with a Boston-based team and the US EAST region servicing projects across North America and globally.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with intent to continue enrollment after the internship, having completed at least 2 years of study.
- Recent bachelor’s graduates planning to pursue a master’s degree in the same or similar discipline are eligible.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience with REVIT BIM software.
- Proficiency in computers for engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing.
- Strong written communication, presentation, and client interface skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: USD 25 - USD 26.
