L3Harris seeks an Associate Stress Engineer to perform structural analysis and collaborate on aircraft modifications in Greenville, TX.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform structural analysis of aircraft structures using classical methods and finite element models
  • Develop free body diagrams, calculate internal loads and stresses, and write margins of safety
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to substantiate aircraft modifications and ensure airworthiness compliance
  • Document structural analysis in formal reports
  • Develop structural tests and analyze results to establish allowable strength data
  • Manage personal work within scope, budget, and schedule

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Applicants pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering within the last 12 months
  • Ability to work on-site in Greenville, TX
  • U.S. citizenship may be required for security clearance eligibility
