Stormwater Engineering Intern (Jun 2026)

Dewberry seeks a Stormwater Engineering Intern for the summer to develop hydrologic and hydraulic models!

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Create hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for stormwater, stream restoration, and water quality studies.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field
• Interest in floodplain delineation, stormwater management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Note: Dewberry will not sponsor new applicants for work authorization

Training & Development

• Hands-on project experience during the summer intern program
• Participation in workshops and events including networking, learning about services and clients, professional development workshops, and a summer-long group project with firm leaders
