Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning foundational banking concepts including financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and commercial banking principles.
- Applying knowledge through structured assignments and collaborative group exercises.
- Completing daily training tasks such as case studies, verbal presentations, written reports, online assessments, quizzes, and milestone evaluations.
- Demonstrating professionalism by attending all scheduled meetings and submitting reports in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a growth mindset and remaining coachable throughout the program.
- Collaborating with internal teams including credit, documentation, sales, and compliance.
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders across sales, banking, credit, and management.
- Organizing tasks efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
- Identifying trends and contributing to process improvements that enhance customer experience.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A completed BBA, BA, BS, or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 9 credit hours in Accounting and 6 credit hours in Finance.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (a transcript will be required to confirm qualifications).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A demonstrated interest in a long-term career in banking.
- Strong leadership abilities and involvement in community or extracurricular activities.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work across departments.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and the interpersonal skills to build productive relationships.
