Join Texas Capital's STARs Program to develop banking skills and build long-lasting relationships.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learn banking fundamentals including financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and commercial banking basics.
  • Apply learning through individual assignments and group exercises.
  • Complete training assignments, case studies, verbal presentations, written reports, online assessments, quizzes, and milestone tests.
  • Exhibit professionalism by attending all meetings and submitting all reports in a timely manner.
  • Dedicate to continuous learning and remain coachable through each learning experience.

About You:

Candidates should have:

  • Earned a BBA, BA, BS, or master’s in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university before the program starts.
  • Completion of at least 9 hours of accounting and 9 hours of finance.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in a long-term career in banking.
  • Proven leadership skills and community involvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize to meet multiple conflicting deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an effective team player and build positive working relationships.
