Software Engineering Internship (May 2026)

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Contribute as an equal team member on world-class engineering teams
• Develop, implement, and maintain software for complex wireless devices
• Leverage computer science or engineering knowledge to impact the software development life cycle
• Work on projects aligned with the Software Engineering track based on your resume

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Available for 11–14 weeks during Summer 2026 (May–September)
• Expected graduation date of November 2026 or later
• At least 1 year of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
• Preferred: anticipated graduation between November 2026 and June 2027
• Preferred: extensive programming in C/C++
• Preferred: object-oriented software design and development
• Preferred: knowledge of distributed systems, networking protocols, multi-threaded programming, multi-core/multi-processor systems, and system performance optimization
• Preferred: experience in complex software debugging
• Preferred: knowledge of modeling concepts (e.g., discrete event simulation, polyglot programming)
• Preferred: knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., bridging, routing), especially in Linux
