Join Intuit as a Software Engineer Intern to design and develop modern web applications, enhancing user experience with innovative authentication methods.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Designing and developing web apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts  
  • Ensuring code coverage using the latest UI testing frameworks and patterns  
  • Resolving defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches  
  • Working cross-functionally with various Intuit teams, including product management and business units  

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:  

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field  
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming languages  
  • Knowledge of front-end web design and modern JavaScript features such as ES6, ES7 & ES8  
  • Strong design sense and ability to translate wire-frames, mockups, and visual design assets to web experiences using Photoshop, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript  
  • Understanding of Test-Driven Development with experience in JavaScript-based test coverage  
  • An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)  
  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies  
  • A "self-starter" attitude and ability to make decisions independently  
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills  

Compensation & Benefits: 

The pay range for this position is $35.50 - $55.50 per hour, varying based on education and location. Benefits typically include healthcare, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
