Software Engineer (Production Infrastructure) Internship - Seattle (Start ASAP)

Software Engineer Intern at Palantir contributing to mission-critical platforms and infrastructure for public and private sectors.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving large-scale transformation through data, AI, and infrastructure supporting mission-critical workloads.
• Contributing high-quality code to platforms such as Rubix, Apollo, and Mission Manager.
• Building core capabilities for advanced civil and defense agencies worldwide.
• Working within the Production Infrastructure organization on Environment Platform, Apollo, and Signals teams.
• Owning every phase of the product lifecycle from ideation to shipping releases.
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues to solve real customer problems.
• Participating in activities such as military exercises or vendor partnerships to gain firsthand insight.
• Adhering to SWE principles of ownership, collaboration, and trust.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Ability to write clean, effective code and learn new languages quickly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
• Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions when needed.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Must be planning to graduate in 2027 and this should be the final internship before graduating.
