Software Engineer, New Grad - Infrastructure (Start ASAP)

Software Engineers at Palantir build scalable infrastructure to enhance developer productivity and platform performance across multiple core systems.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Building shared infrastructure supporting Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo platforms.
• Improving developer experience and platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Working within one of four infrastructure categories: Backend, Developer, Frontend, or Storage Infrastructure.
• Participating in the full product lifecycle from idea generation to rollout.
• Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical teams to address developer and customer needs.
• Being paired with a mentor focused on growth and success.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and frontend frameworks.
• Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
• Passion for improving developer productivity and empathy for user impact.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers and non-technical team members.
• Willingness to learn independently and ask effective questions.
• Interest in understanding and debugging open-source libraries.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 per year.
