Software Engineers at Palantir build scalable infrastructure to enhance developer productivity and platform performance across multiple core systems.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Building shared infrastructure supporting Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and Apollo platforms.
- Improving developer experience and platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Working within one of four infrastructure categories: Backend, Developer, Frontend, or Storage Infrastructure.
- Participating in the full product lifecycle from idea generation to rollout.
- Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical teams to address developer and customer needs.
- Being paired with a mentor focused on growth and success.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and frontend frameworks.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
- Passion for improving developer productivity and empathy for user impact.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineers and non-technical team members.
- Willingness to learn independently and ask effective questions.
- Interest in understanding and debugging open-source libraries.
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 per year.
- Potential additional compensation including Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and future incentives.
