Software Engineer, New Grad (Start ASAP)

Software Engineers at Palantir develop scalable software to transform data usage across public and private sectors.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Apollo, or Foundry products used globally by diverse professionals.
• Participating throughout the product lifecycle from idea generation, design, prototyping, execution, to shipping.
• Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical team members to understand customer problems and build effective solutions.
• Engaging with users directly to gain insights into their needs and challenges.
• Working in small teams focused on specific product aspects, with opportunities to share knowledge across teams.
• Demonstrating ownership by seeing projects through despite obstacles.
• Collaborating with engineers, product managers, designers, product reliability engineers, and business development teams.
• Operating with trust and autonomy while being supported by the team.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
• Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions effectively.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 per year.
• Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other potential incentives.
