Software Engineers at Palantir develop scalable software to transform data usage across public and private sectors.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Apollo, or Foundry products used globally by diverse professionals.
- Participating throughout the product lifecycle from idea generation, design, prototyping, execution, to shipping.
- Collaborating closely with technical and non-technical team members to understand customer problems and build effective solutions.
- Engaging with users directly to gain insights into their needs and challenges.
- Working in small teams focused on specific product aspects, with opportunities to share knowledge across teams.
- Demonstrating ownership by seeing projects through despite obstacles.
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, designers, product reliability engineers, and business development teams.
- Operating with trust and autonomy while being supported by the team.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, users, and non-technical team members.
- Willingness to learn, make independent decisions, and ask questions effectively.
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 per year.
- Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other potential incentives.
