Software Engineer Internship - Backend (Jun 2026)

Ramp seeks backend engineering interns to build scalable financial platforms and contribute to innovative fintech products.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Build performant and scalable platforms and services powering Ramp’s products
• Contribute to financial products platform (Risk, Fraud, Treasury Management) and/or savings and web-app platform (Savings Insights, Receipt Matching)
• Collaborate with product and business teams to incorporate customer feedback for product improvement
• Help establish and influence engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale code base, productivity, and team

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, graduating between Dec 2026 - 2028
• Track record of shipping high-quality products/features or portfolio of side projects
• Ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow
• Alignment with Ramp’s core values of enabling businesses to grow by spending less

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity or interest in Ramp’s tech stack: Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Celery, Temporal, Elixir, AWS, RabbitMQ
• Experience with or interest in Python
• Passion for or curiosity about financial technology

• Monthly internship rate: $11,700 USD plus housing stipend
