Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program as a Software Engineer Intern to develop payer web applications and gain hands-on experience in healthcare innovation.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of payer web applications using Angular or other modern frameworks
- Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2)
- Explore opportunities to apply Gen AI and AI/ML technologies to improve payer experience and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers through the full software development lifecycle
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Engage in code reviews and learn industry best practices for secure healthcare application development
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor's degree candidate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Solid foundation in at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of data structures (arrays, lists, maps, trees, graphs), algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Proactive learner with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Working knowledge of machine learning fundamentals using Python frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and interest in advanced AI techniques including agentic AI, RAG, and fine-tuning
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Paid internship with pay range of $22-$25/hr based on skills and experience
