Join Interactive Brokers as a Software Developer intern to design, develop, and maintain software solutions in a leading global brokerage firm.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Work closely with experienced software engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions
  • Own your project while regularly checking in with team members for questions and updates
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
  • Contribute to back, middle, and/or front office projects during a 10-week onsite internship

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Students graduating between December 2026 and May 2027 (preferred)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Programming experience in C++, Java, or Python
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Ability to prioritize and set goals amid shifting priorities
  • Commitment to the required onsite 10-week program
