Texas Instruments seeks a Summer Intern to develop AI-powered automation and machine learning solutions in Smart Manufacturing and Automation Quality & Test.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Design and develop AI-powered automation workflows using LLM platforms and agentic frameworks
  • Create and refine prompt engineering solutions for manufacturing use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement ML-driven solutions
  • Contribute to test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Programming experience in Python or similar language
  • Preferred experience with AI code generation platforms (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) or LLM APIs
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI) or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or scripting languages for automation
  • Experience with data visualization tools or dashboard development
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across different functions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with a drive to deliver results
