Sales, Trading and Structuring Analyst Summer Internship Program 2027 offers a 10-week immersive experience in financial markets at Barclays' New York headquarters.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in day-to-day activities of the markets division, providing insights and expertise to support senior colleagues.
• Execute small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to implement research and support business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage deployment and launch of new products and services.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support under decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision making.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.
• Complete rotations across Sales, Trading and Structuring desks including Financial Resource Management, Client Strategy, Credit, Equities, Equity Financing, Foreign Exchange, Rates, Structuring, and Securitized Products.

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a target graduation date within one year of internship completion.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Interest in business and finance with a strong work ethic and eagerness to develop technical skills.
• Ability to perform activities timely and to a high standard, with in-depth technical knowledge in assigned areas.
• Effective communication skills to guide team members and liaise with stakeholders.
