Join ENERCON as a new graduate Safety Analysis Engineer to support nuclear plant safety, licensing, and technical analysis in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting licensing, safety evaluations, and technical analysis for nuclear systems
- Using advanced tools to model plant conditions and assess radiation and environmental impacts
- Supporting regulatory filings and documentation
- Visiting plant sites and conducting field data collection in collaboration with senior engineers
- Learning and applying codes and standards for project design
- Adapting to new software systems and managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Engaging positively with feedback and connecting academic knowledge to practical industry work
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with nuclear experience or minor) from an ABET-accredited school
- Graduating May-June 2026 preferred, available to start between May and August 2026
- Solid foundation in core concepts of your major
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors
- Willingness and ability to travel for client and company projects or meetings
- Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under 1 year post-graduation
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, level, experience, and location
