Robotics Hardware Engineer Intern (May 2026)

Amazon Robotics seeks a self-motivated intern to assist in hardware product development and testing, applying cutting-edge robotics and software advances.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Completing project tasks with a team of other interns and Amazon Robotics engineers
• Utilizing Amazon Robotics engineering tools and processes
• Prototyping and testing concepts or features
• Tracking progress of task deliverables
• Developing and maintaining design documentation
• Presenting information to managers and engineers

About You

The company is looking for:

• 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Solid understanding of principles, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering
• Comfortable using hand tools (preferred)
• Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced agile environment (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with the ability to craft simple proof-of-concept models (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work well with teams (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay ranges from $41.78/hr to $88.94/hr depending on geographic market
• Pay varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
