Roadway Engineer Intern (Start ASAP)

Join Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP as a Roadway Engineer Intern supporting transportation project planning and design.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Participate in planning and design on transportation-related projects
• Support senior engineers with various roadway design tasks
• Work within the Highway/Roadway group in the Richmond, VA office

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited institution
• Effective oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States without visa sponsorship
