Join CACI this summer as a Network Engineering Intern supporting Department of War’s Enterprise Network Modernizations in High Point, NC.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist an engineering team to design, implement, and support network modernization solutions.
- Work on private, outdoor 5G networks across the project life cycle.
- Monitor and oversee task completion under the direction of a senior Engineer.
- Collaborate directly with a CACI program supporting Department of War’s Enterprise Network Modernizations.
About You
What you'll need:
- Graduating High School Senior with demonstrated academic achievement and technical aptitude.
- Currently enrolled full-time Undergraduate or Graduate student in a relevant field of study.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Good interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Technical experience or knowledge of basic data network communications and computer operations.
- Coursework in Data Network Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Signals & Systems, Communications Systems, or RF Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary.
- Ability to handle light materials, boxes, or equipment as needed.
- Technical experience or knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba is a strong plus.
- Preferred degree fields: Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $39,400 - $75,900, influenced by location, experience, skills, and education.
