Restaurant Data Analyst Intern (Jun 2025)

Internship opportunity at 7-Eleven focusing on data analysis and innovation in the convenience industry.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting data and performing analysis on category and business initiatives under the direction of the Restaurant Category Director.
• Supporting department leadership in developing improved weekly sales and financial reporting for the Restaurant division.
• Analyzing Restaurant financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conducting deep dives into Restaurant menu test performance to determine effectiveness and recommend plans.
• Recommending optimal menu pricing and promotional strategies.
• Enhancing weekly sales and financial reporting for the Restaurant division.
• Building promotional analysis tools for the Category management team.
• Identifying and suggesting improvements to existing processes and workflows.
• Assisting in planning, execution, and management of key projects within the assigned department.
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions and strategy development.
• Preparing and delivering presentations summarizing project findings and strategic recommendations.
• Working with different teams and departments to ensure alignment and support for ongoing initiatives.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Rising senior or graduate class standing.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Data Tables.
• Experience with using and building PowerBI reporting tools.
• Strong, clear, and concise communication and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
