Lead the redesign and visual presentation of Adobe Research’s AI web content, collaborating with researchers to create engaging digital experiences.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Lead the redesign of 3 key web pages through collaborator interviews and user research
  • Build a cohesive visual design system including color palette, typography, and component library
  • Create 4-5 high-impact visual content pieces such as infographics, data visualizations, and interactive graphics
  • Implement designs using WordPress page builders and custom CSS (no custom theme development or PHP required)
  • Proactively identify research needing better visual representation online
  • Drive project timeline and deliverables independently
  • Present design rationale to technical and non-technical collaborators
  • Document design system and provide recommendations for ongoing web and multimedia strategy

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Master’s or undergraduate student in journalism, communications, digital media, HCI preferred, with coursework in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Portfolio demonstrating visual design and ability to translate complex topics into engaging web experiences
  • Ability to turn technical scientific concepts into visually appealing web experiences and timeless web content
  • Self-direction and initiative to scope tasks, identify blockers early, and drive solutions independently
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting work, interviewing research scientists, and advocating for clear direction
  • Visual design fundamentals including typography, color, layout, and user experience
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and capacity to develop designs in WordPress
  • Willingness to take informed risks, seek feedback early and often, and deliver completed work

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $38.00 – $51.00, varying by U.S. geographic market
  • Compensation reflects cost of labor across several U.S. markets
