Rates and Currencies Solutions Summer Analyst Program (May 2027)

Join Bank of America’s Global Rates and Currencies team to support corporate clients with interest rate and foreign exchange risk management solutions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with senior marketers to source, pitch, and execute risk management transactions
• Coordinating with Banking and Markets partners to identify new trades and opportunities
• Communicating daily with Trading teams to price and structure hedging strategies
• Preparing client pitch materials and transaction recommendations
• Managing derivative deal pipeline and analyzing risk in cross-border M&A and event-driven transactions
• Conducting in-depth research on FX and Rates markets, companies, and market conditions
• Reading company financial statements to develop risk management solutions
• Completing summer projects involving market analysis and company-specific case studies, presenting findings to the GRC team
• Collaborating with associates from FX Sales, Rates Sales, Strategic FX, and Strategic Risk Management Solutions

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or bachelor’s direct to master’s degree with graduation between November 2027 and August 2028
• Track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
• Strategic and creative thinking with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, and team focus
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
• Dedication to building a career in the finance industry
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint strongly recommended

• Summer internship projects provide exposure to a wide range of clients and products
• Opportunities to work with multiple teams and associates across FX Sales, Rates Sales, Strategic FX, and Strategic Risk Management Solutions
• Presentation of summer projects to senior and junior members of the GRC team
