Quality Science Intern (May 2025)

Your Role:

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Complete technical checklists for an analytical test laboratory.
• Review and suggest improvements for current process controls.
• Work a hybrid schedule based on geographical location.
• Visit various A.M. Castle & Co. locations across the country.
• Engage in a meaningful business project, receive on-the-job mentorship, and participate in executive lunch and learns.

About You:

Candidates should possess the following:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be an undergraduate Junior or Senior, graduating by or before summer 2026.
• Demonstrated outstanding academic performance.
• Proficiency in PC literacy, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid technical experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

The internship offers a paid opportunity at $20/hr. Travel expenses, including flights, hotel accommodations, and meals, are covered.
