Join Barclays as a Public Finance Analyst Summer Intern in San Francisco to work on real projects, gain mentorship, and develop skills in public sector finance and markets.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Participate in day-to-day activities of the markets division, providing insights and expertise to support senior colleagues
• Execute small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to implement research findings and support business initiatives
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage deployment and launch of new products and services
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support with decreasing supervision
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision making
• Train and mentor junior colleagues
• Help prepare and execute live transactions, draft marketing materials, perform cash flow analyses, update credit models, and research market data

About You

The company is looking for:

• Undergraduate students with a target graduation date within one year of internship conclusion
• GPA of 3.2 or above
• Keen interest in business and finance with curiosity to learn
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through extracurricular activities
