Support project management operations and optimize PMO metrics at ABB, a global leader in industrial technology.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and optimization of PMO metrics and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Collaborating on initiatives to simplify and standardize project management processes using “effortless thinking” methodology.
  • Analyzing existing workflows and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and clarity.
  • Assisting in managing project-related databases and documentation.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing to the continuous improvement of PMO tools and templates.
  • Communicating proactively with stakeholders to gather feedback and align deliverables.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Engineering in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Capability to manage several tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Collaboration skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
  • No company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off for internships.
  • Onsite/hybrid work model in Cary, NC; candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and manage their own commuting.
