Production Planning Associate (Start ASAP)

L3Harris seeks an Associate, Production Planning in Mason, OH to develop manufacturing build plans and manage materials scheduling for defense technology projects.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
• Utilizing Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity
• Updating and maintaining make items lead times within the MRP system
• Managing floor stock of program components
• Collaborating with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedules and address issues promptly
• Working with Materials Planners to proactively manage schedule and material dock dates to ensure planning accuracy
• Providing hardware status, updates, and performance statistics to the program team based on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data

About You

The company is looking for:

• Applicants pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or those who have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
