Your role

Responsibilities: 

  • Gain an understanding of the product development process by working with internal cross-function teams (R&D, Product Marketing, Global Supply Chain, etc.) and third-party manufacturers.
  • Learn how to visually present product concepts.
  • Learn how to evaluate textures and how to communicate product aesthetics.
  • Track and evaluate all new competitive skincare products.
  • Track key trends and participate in brainstorming concepts around new techniques.
  • Create a trend report for seasonable skincare trends to incorporate into future formulas/programs.
  • Assist in preparing competitive formula evaluation charts to help showcase white space opportunities for the brand.
  • Assist with preparing samples for evaluations and creative requests.

Selected candidates can expect:

Salary & benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, which equates to $42,000 - $63,000 per year.

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Qualified candidates must have completed their Junior year by the program start (June 2023) and be on track to graduate in May 2024.
  • Strong interest in the beauty industry.
  • Passionate about cosmetics and beauty.
  • Displays willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Desired majors:

  • Marketing, Product Development, or Art.

Qualifications: 

  • Qualified candidates must have completed their Junior year by program start (June 2024) and be on track to graduate in May/June 2025.
