Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design sprints and developing product concepts, workflows, micro-interactions, and visual designs using tools like Figma.
- Conducting informal user research, including customer interviews and usability tests, combining qualitative and quantitative data.
- Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to prototype and build products, treating them as partners.
- Maintaining awareness of software interface construction, with familiarity in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to facilitate collaboration.
- Designing scalable, generalizable solutions for complex, data-dense interfaces across government and commercial contexts.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who have:
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project (include portfolio password if applicable).
- Experience with interaction and visual design, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- An iterative design process mindset, with ability to give and receive critiques and rapidly incorporate feedback.
- Dedication to understanding and empowering diverse users, from manufacturing workers to pharmaceutical researchers.
- Excitement for solving complex, technical design challenges in data-driven environments.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $130,000 - $135,000 per year, with total compensation potentially including Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.
