Design software interfaces that empower users to solve complex, data-driven problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams at Palantir.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design sprints and defining early product concepts, workflows, micro-interactions, and visual designs using tools like Figma.
- Conducting informal user research, including customer interviews and usability tests, combining qualitative and quantitative data.
- Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to prototype and build products, treating them as partners.
- Maintaining awareness of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to facilitate collaboration with engineers.
- Developing scalable, generalizable solutions that address complex customer challenges across diverse user bases.
About You
The company is looking for:
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project (include portfolio password if applicable).
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma.
- Flexibility with user research methodologies and ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to iterate designs rapidly based on feedback and prioritize collaboration.
- Passion for solving complex, data-dense interface problems and dedication to user-centered design.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) to collaborate with engineers.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $130,000 - $135,000 per year.
- Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.
