Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design sprints and defining early product concepts.
- Designing interaction and visual elements, including micro-interactions and reusable UI components.
- Conducting informal user research, including interviews and usability tests, combining qualitative and quantitative data.
- Collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to prototype and build products.
- Maintaining awareness of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to facilitate collaboration with engineers.
About You
The company is looking for candidates with:
- Experience in interaction and visual design, including proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Flexibility in user research methodologies and ability to conduct user interviews onsite.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- An iterative design process mindset, with ability to give and receive feedback and adapt quickly.
- Dedication to user-centered design for complex, data-dense software interfaces.
- Excitement for solving technically complex problems and designing scalable, generalizable solutions.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) to collaborate with engineers.
- Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project (include portfolio password if applicable).
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $130,000 - $135,000 per year.
- Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.
