Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Reinvent the shape of electronics by balancing comfort, performance, and appearance.
- Work collaboratively on a team to establish design direction and create prototypes.
- Develop prototypes and work to scale them for production.
- Engage in innovative and harmonious design that complements and enables technology.
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Internship, work, educational, or personal project experience with product design or Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools such as PTC Creo, ProE, or Unigraphics NX, and mechanical simulation tools.
- English proficiency is required.
- Located in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Preferred: Experience with Unigraphics NX/Teamcenter, proficiency in CAD, tolerance analysis, and structural finite element analysis.
- Familiarity with mechanical design of plastic and metal components, printed circuit boards (PCB), flexible printed circuits (FPC), and acoustics used in consumer electronic products.
- Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies, manufacturing techniques, fabrication techniques, and rapid prototyping.
- Available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
- In penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after internship completion.
Compensation & Benefits
- US base salary range: $84,000 - $112,000, determined by role, level, and location.
- Individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
- Salary range excludes bonus, equity, or benefits.
