Procurement and Logistics Summer Intern (Jun 2026)

Join ABB as a Procurement and Logistics Summer Intern to support operations, collaborate across teams, and gain hands-on supply chain experience in Richmond, VA.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Collaborate with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within defined timelines.
• Utilize understanding of customers' needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
• Seek feedback and guidance from the manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on the current supply chain, identifying cost-out opportunities.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
• Strong collaboration skills to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate between $20 - $34, based on qualifications, graduation year, and experience.
• Internships in the United States are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.
