Join ENERCON as a new graduate PRA Engineer to develop risk assessment models and support nuclear safety projects in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Develop and upgrade Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) models
- Support hazard assessments and engineering change evaluations
- Work with advanced risk-informed applications such as SFCP, RICT, 10 CFR 50.69, and SAMA
- Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection and project execution
- Learn and apply codes and standards for project design
- Adapt to new software systems and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude towards learning and feedback
About You
The company is looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET-accredited school in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Graduating May-June 2026 preferred, available to start between May and August 2026
- Solid foundation in core concepts of your major
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate client sites, and work outdoors
- Willingness to travel for client and company projects or meetings
- Completion of pre-interview assessments and submission of college transcript if under 1 year post-graduation
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record checks
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,000 to $85,000, based on role, level, experience, and location
