Print Technician Intern (Jun 2026)

As a Print Technician Intern at Rocket, gain hands-on experience in digital print production, client interaction, and quality control in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Learn and assist with prepress workflow of digital print jobs, including file manipulation, color calibration, and job setup
• Support the printing and finishing of digital print jobs using industry-standard equipment, tools, and techniques
• Help prepare finished products for pickup or delivery and maintain quality standards
• Observe and participate in concept development with business area owners for various print materials
• Assist with client consultations to understand project requirements and specifications
• Learn to select appropriate media and substrates for different printing projects
• Gain experience with basic preventative maintenance on print and finishing equipment
• Collaborate with the team and support live projects from start to finish, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of print production

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program related to printing technology, graphic design, or related field
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn specialized software
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy carts
• Preferred: Previous coursework or experience in the print industry
• Preferred: Familiarity with digital printing equipment and processes
• Preferred: Knowledge of graphic design software
• Preferred: Interest in pursuing a career in print production or related fields
• Preferred: Interest in learning about print production or visual communications
