Join Honeywell as a Physicist Intern to support innovative R&D projects in cryogenics and laboratory experimentation.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing sample environments to support laboratory experimentation
  • Performing low temperature laboratory experiments
  • Supporting the design and development of integrated solutions with cryogenics as a key component
  • Partnering with the Principal Investigator, Program Manager, and Project Engineer for project execution

About You

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
  • U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
  • Must graduate after December 2026 and continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of internship
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, or Material Science
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and other organizations
  • Current security clearance for government contract work is a plus
  • Proven experience with systems investigating physical phenomena, especially cryogenic systems
  • Demonstrated ability to design, analyze, operate, build, and test complex systems

  • Hourly base pay range: $20.00 - $42.00
