Join Honeywell as a Physicist Intern to support innovative R&D projects in cryogenics and laboratory experimentation.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing sample environments to support laboratory experimentation
- Performing low temperature laboratory experiments
- Supporting the design and development of integrated solutions with cryogenics as a key component
- Partnering with the Principal Investigator, Program Manager, and Project Engineer for project execution
About You
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Must graduate after December 2026 and continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of internship
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, or Material Science
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and other organizations
- Current security clearance for government contract work is a plus
- Proven experience with systems investigating physical phenomena, especially cryogenic systems
- Demonstrated ability to design, analyze, operate, build, and test complex systems

- Hourly base pay range: $20.00 - $42.00
