Pharmacy Intern - Rockingham (Start ASAP)

Join CVS Health as a 3rd year pharmacy intern to support patient care, ensure safety, and contribute to improving healthcare quality.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy environment
• Ensure patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance
• Manage inventory and workflow, excluding final prescription verification
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to promote a culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
• Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy

About You

The company is looking for:

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Possession or in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Physical ability to lift, scan, bag items, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and visual acuity
• Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
• Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.00 - $42.00 per hour
