Personal Systems Hardware Engineering Internship (May 2026)

Join HP, Inc. as a 12-week paid summer intern in Personal Systems Hardware Engineering, working on UEFI/BIOS development and AI model training.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Develop UEFI/BIOS code on HP Workstations
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems
• Gather training data for AI models
• Collaborate within the Personal Systems team focused on Computing, Peripherals, and Digital Services pillars

About You

The company is looking for:

• Completion of 3rd year of university or 1st year of master’s degree, typically in a technical specialization
• Eligibility to work in the United States in 2026 without requiring future work authorization sponsorship
• Preferred majors: Hardware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical fields
• Interest in innovation and making an impact in technology

• Hourly pay range: $29 to $35 (US candidates only), varying by location, knowledge, skills, and experience
