Performance Improvement Summer Associate (Jun 2026)

Bain’s Performance Improvement Summer Associate internship offers MBA or advanced degree candidates the opportunity to work on strategic cost and operational challenges across diverse industries with a focus on supply chain, procurement, or cost transformations.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work as a PI-affiliated Summer Associate staffed to cases focusing on supply chain, procurement, or cost transformations across various industries
• Collaborate closely with full-time consultants who provide coaching and mentoring
• Engage with clients from Fortune 500 companies, midsize firms, non-profits, and start-ups in industries such as consumer goods, retail, technology, telecommunications, industrial products, and private equity
• Present work results to Partners and clients
• Apply business school knowledge and consulting skills to solve complex business problems and drive change

About You

The company is looking for:

• MBA or advanced degree candidate from a top business school or university
• Strong team player and independent thinker
• Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multitask
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Fluency in English
• Additional language skills and visa requirements as applicable for the office location

• Monthly base salary of $16,000 (U.S. locations)
